Should my dog get the Bordatella vaccine?

Absolutely! Vaccination is one of our few defenses against kennel cough, and is especially important to administer to dogs who have contact with other dogs, whether that is at a kennel, daycare, park, or a friend’s house. Ultimately, your veterinarian will guide you on vaccinating against Bordatella, but if he forgets to mention it (since it often is not part of the core vaccine schedule and is considered optional), don’t hesitate to ask! Never forget that you are the #1 advocate for your dog’s health!
